Angela was born and raised on the North Shore of Auckland, then moved to Dunedin to obtain her medical degree from the University of Otago.

 She moved back to Auckland in 2018 to start work as a junior doctor across all the Auckland hospitals then pursued training for a few years in Paediatrics (child health) at Starship, Waikato and Waitakere Hospitals. 

 She started training in General Practice in 2023 and loves the diversity that community health provides. She is working towards gaining fellowship with the College of General Practitioners. Her special interests are child and adolescent health, mental health and chronic conditions such as diabetes. She is looking forward to being able to give back to the community that she grew up in.

 Angela can speak both English and Korean.
