PRACTICE NURSES
Practice Nursing is a specialised area of healthcare that plays a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our patients and community.
Our highly experienced nursing team consists of Dianne, Sally, Ana, Karalee, and Asmita. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise across a wide range of clinical areas and are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. We are also supported by Gill, our locum nurse, who assists the team when needed.
Our nurses are available for appointments, telephone consultations, clinical advice, and ongoing support. Their focus is on health promotion, disease prevention, self-management, early intervention, and the management of both acute and long-term health conditions.
The team provides a variety of nurse-led services, including Diabetes Care, Chronic Kidney Disease Management, Wound Care, Asthma Management, Smoking Cessation Support, Cervical Screening, Childhood Immunisations, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Management, and Ear Suctioning.
Committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, our nurses have completed additional training and certifications relevant to General Practice and actively participate in ongoing professional development to ensure their knowledge and skills remain current.
